FOVAC T47 is based upon a combination of organic phosphate, polyphosphate and special corrosion inhibitors. It increases solubility of calcium and magnesium salts in the water and prevent it from precipitating on heat exchanger surface. It interferes in the process of formation of crystals of scale forming salt.

The scale formed by such crystal is very weak, fluffy and normally are washed off by water velocity.
